We Don't Need More Motivation

I don’t think we need more motivation.
In fact, I think most people are already carrying too much of it.
We know what we’re supposed to do. Drink more water. Take better care of ourselves. Ask for help. Set boundaries. Start the thing. Leave the thing. Take the risk.
The information is everywhere. The podcasts. The books. The reels. The keynotes. The endless stream of advice telling us how to become a "better" version of ourselves.
And yet so many of us still feel stuck.
Why?

Because motivation was never the missing piece.
Connection is.
Permission is.
Self-worth is.
The ability to sit quietly with ourselves long enough to hear what we actually need.
That’s what I’ve been learning through Enough Already.
What started as a book has evolved into something much more than I expected.
Not a talk. Not a presentation. An experience.
A space where people can slow down, reflect, connect, and remember who they are underneath all the expectations they’ve been carrying.
Because most people don’t need someone else telling them what to do.
They need space to remember what they already know.
And maybe that’s the real work. Not motivating people to change. But helping them reconnect with themselves enough to believe they’re worth changing for.
Whether I’m sitting with women in recovery, educators, leaders, or community members, the goal isn’t to inspire people for an hour and send them home.
On August 8, I’ll be facilitating Enough Already: Finding Your Voice at Coulee Recovery Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
This isn’t another presentation. It’s a workshop, healing circle, and guided experience designed to help women explore self-worth, resilience, recovery, and the stories they’ve been carrying for far too long.
Because healing doesn’t happen when someone talks at us.
It happens when we’re given permission to show up as we are.
And that’s what Enough Already is all about.
I hope to see you at one. With love,
Nadine
